Ashford PresentsAround the World 2006Ashford has a wide range of arts activity, a wealth of artistic talent and great intimate venues.

Whether you prefer walking through ‘Stour Valley Arts’ stunning public art trail, attending concerts at St Mary's Church, watching legendary blues acts in Bars and Cafés or taking in a night’s entertainment at the Sinden Theatre, there is certainly something to suit most tastes.

Ashford’s festivals are also a major attraction for the town.  Stour Music’s annual festival of early music regularly sells out year on year in June; Ashford Summer Sounds brings the Borough into its very own every weekend in July; the Tenterden Folk Festival provides a full weekend of folk song, music and dance in October, while other festivals such as the Ashford Visual Arts and Architecture Festival in September continues to grow in popularity.
